Welcome to San Michelle Bed & Breakfast close to Stansted Airport and offering secure parking.

We are located in a quiet country lane within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Takeley village, where you will find a newsagent, local grocery shop, fish and chip shop and the local public house. The Four Ashes public house offers a wide range of beers, ales and spirits as well as an excellent lunchtime and evening food menu.

Your hosts - Jan and Ian - are pleased to invite you to stay in their well presented, self contained accommodation in the beautiful countryside which surrounds Stansted Airport.

Our accommodation comprises one double room with en suite, which can be used for single or double occupancy. The room is on the ground floor in a separate annex with its own front door. The bedroom has a double bed and windows to the front and side.


The room is clean, tastefully decorated and has a TV that can be watched from the bed. A hairdryer and toiletries are also provided for your convenience.

The accommodation also has tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a fridge, toaster and microwave.

Breakfast is served in the main house between 6.30am and 8.30am. However, if you are leaving early, continental breakfast can be left in your room. A sample breakfast menu is shown below:

We employ a No Smoking policy within our accommodation. However, smoking is permitted outside, within the grounds.
