Audley End mansion is about 12 miles away and can be reached by train or bus it is a English Heritage owned property and makes a lovely day out. They also hold evening concerts in the summer.

Hatfield Forest, which is owned by the National Trust is just 3 miles away.

Duxford war museum is one of the best museums of its kind, full of nearly every plane you can think of and hangers full of memorabilia, they hold some of the best air shows during the summer. Duxford can be reached by train, bus or private car about 20 minutes on the M11.

Not forgetting Newmarket Race Track for some great racing days out and evening concerts during the summer.
